SSC is responsible for the overall process execution team management governance and metrics covering all record-to-report and billing shared services accounting processing and compliance for the CMI business unit activities Responsibilities - Deliver standardize and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in record-to-report and billing shared services accounting processes for the global CMI business unit Lead the CMI shared services accounting team including process management and related governance Ensure delivery of CMI R2R and billing shared service center activities globally - manage R2R and billing shared service center quality levels through service level agreements performance metrics and continuous governance activities Run all periodic processes related to CMI general financial accounting including month-end activities account reconciliations periodic reporting metrics governance and internal control Work with Business Finance and Global COE colleagues to maintain best-in-class processes and application of policies Develop and implement procedures and operational ways of work in a standardized efficient and effective manner for CMI globally for general financial accounting stream Maintain general financial accounting related internal controls for CMI globally ensure robust account reconciliations and SOX compliance Maintain thorough and current understanding of GAAP Keep abreast of emerging accounting and reporting standards Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements as required including process changes and training of staff Support the continuous improvement and process automation of the Billing and Revenue processes by reviewing analyzing evaluating them and define respective accountabilities risks and controls Communicate and collaborate routinely with finance colleagues at regional levels providing direction related to key processes and related changes the sharing of best practices and keeping them abreast of initiatives that have a global impact Manage the staff logistics required for standard operations in region -
