Job Description

Associate Director - GL Accounting (R2R)- (Chartered Accountant is mandatory for this role)

Oversee and manage the general ledger team Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Implement new accounting policies and procedures Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations Review all inter-company transactions Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Director - GL Accounting (R2R) should have: (Must be a Chartered Accountant for this position)

A Qualified Accountant (CA) mandatoryDesirable: Lean Six SigmaMinimum of 15 years of experience in Record to Report processes, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global organization. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting systems and tax software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of US GAAP, SOX Compliance, and other relevant regulations. Team Management: Proven experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring a diverse team. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance. Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in finance and accounting.
