Roles and Responsibilities (R2R): - Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, general ledger accounting, and month-end close activities. - Prepare and maintain accurate digital and physical financial records aligned with US GAAP. - Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve open items promptly. - Analyze business transactions and provide accurate financial reports and insights. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. - Handle intercompany accounting, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting. - Conduct periodic reviews and internal audits to ensure accuracy of expenses, revenue, and financial statements. - Ensure proper documentation and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. - Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes. - Develop and implement effective accounting policies, SOPs, and process improvements. - Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes. - Address and resolve accounting-related queries, discrepancies, and variances. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong understanding of US GAAP and R2R processes. - Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite accounting software. - Proficiency in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close. - Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas). - Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
