Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Lead the financial closing processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across India and GCC operations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in statutory reporting, aligning with IND-AS and IFRS standards.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for business units and geographies.

2. Audit & Risk Management:

- Manage internal and statutory audit processes from end-to-end, ensuring zero-qualification audits.
- Liaise with Big 4 auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance and clean audit reports.
- Design and enforce internal controls, mitigate financial risks, and implement corrective action frameworks.

3. Taxation & Regulatory Governance:

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA) and ensure timely compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on organizational operations.
- Handle transfer pricing audits and documentation related to international structuring.

4. Treasury & Working Capital Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flows, optimize working capital cycles, and oversee treasury operations.
- Develop liquidity planning models and investment strategies to maintain financial health.
- Engage with banks and NBFCs for fund management, debt structuring, and financial partnerships.

5. Financial Systems & Automation:

- Drive the adoption of automation tools like SAP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books to streamline processes.
- Implement dashboards and workflow tools to enhance monthly reporting and variance analysis.
- Introduce process efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives for better resource management.

6. Business Partnering & Strategic Support:

- Partner with business heads to track P&L performance, identify revenue leakage, and optimize margins.
- Support pricing decisions, business expansion, and provide financial insights for board-level discussions.
- Assist the CFO in investor meetings, financial presentations, and strategic financial planning.

- Deep understanding of IND-AS, IFRS, and international accounting standards.
- Commercial acumen and leadership skills in cross-functional environments.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ethical rigor in financial decision-making.

Stakeholder Interfaces:

- Internal: Founders, CFO, Heads of Sales, Strategy, HR.
- External: Auditors, bankers, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
