Roles/ Responsibilities: The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for the following: - Identify and target potential customers from the specified target companies and geography. - Research and analyse market trends and competition to identify potential sales opportunities. - Conduct outbound sales outreach via phone, email, and other communication channels. - Qualify leads through consultative conversations to assess their needs and potential fit with our solutions. - Build and maintain a strong network within the SMB / Enterprise market segment. - Position CompUp effectively to win with clients in pursuit of best-in-class Compensation Management technology. - Assist in creating sales strategies and developing a robust pipeline of leads for the sales team. - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads. - Provide timely and accurate sales information to management for reporting purposes. - Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and progress. - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent pre-sales support and addressing customer inquiries. - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. - Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions. Requirements: To be successful in this role, the candidate should have: - 3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales in the SaaS industry, preferably in HR Tech - A creative and customer-focused mindset - Experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling - A general understanding of SaaS offerings and HR Technology industry - Ability to differentiate yourself to customers - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with potential customers. - Experience with CRM software. - Self-motivated and results-driven with a high degree of accountability
