Responsible & Participate in Design & Development, Project Planning, Staffing, Team Management, Process Management, Procurement & Infrastructure Management, Stake Holders Communication & Reporting, Risk Management and Budget Management. A Day In The Life - Lead and Manage the Projects as a hands-on Employee using Technical & Administrative Skills to Oversee & Complete Engineering Projects. - Foster collaboration across different engineering disciplines creates a positive, productive work environment. - Develop, track and publish metrics. - Meeting with the team, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth within the team. - Prioritize tasks, monitor project progress, and address any issues that could hinder team productivity. - Collaborate with Counterpart stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities, and timelines. - Interact in a multi-disciplinary team environment to achieve the best possible product from all functional viewpoints. - Ability to Communicate Technical & Design information to Stakeholders in Clear, Concise & Accurate Manner. - Solve complex technical issues and provide guidance on best practices and technical methodologies - Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and progress to the US team. - Foster transparent communication between offshore and onshore teams to bridge any geographical or cultural gaps. - Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively and costs are kept within allocated limits. - Continually evaluate new technologies, look for technical advancements. - Keep cognizant of emerging technologies and markets. What will help you thrive in this role - Bachelor's/Master degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or Equivalent. - Minimum 12 to 15 years related Experiences in Medium/High Voltage Switchgear Products like Reclosers, Capacitor Switch, AIS Switchgear, LBS, Switching & Fusing Products. - Should have experience in New Design Product Development, Sustaining and product testing. - Knowledge in FEM Analysis. - Knowledge in Electrical Simulation Electric Field, Electrical Stress - Knowledge in Mechanical Simulation Mold Flow, Electro-Thermal, Stress, Mechanical, Failure Analysis. - Should have experience in troubleshooting in MV/HV Products. - Must Demonstrate consistent and sustainable application of problem solving and analytical skills. - Should have experience/knowledge in type testing of MV/HV Switchgear Products as per IEC, ANSI, IEEE Standards and testing on Fusing Products. - Knowledge in Casting Process (GDC, PDC) and APG Molding Process. - Should have experience in handling medium-sized teams with project management, strategic thinking and leadership. - Must be able to communicate information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, convey goals to the team and provide progress reports to upper management.
