Job Overview:

The Territory Manager will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives within the assigned territory.TM must emphasize the ability to develop and execute successful sales plans, as well as analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Showcasing their negotiation skills and experience in increasing sales revenue and market share is crucial.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Identification of the right candidates for the role of Sales Officers.
- Promoting sales of the Company's products, achieving and exceeding business targets set by the Company in respect of the cluster's branches/outlets within the area of jurisdiction, In line with business targets and mapping.
- Achieving these targets by providing all possible support to the allotted clusters in promoting life insurance business to their existing customers as well as to the prospects.
- Drive business to the asset base customers by using the bank partner database and business.
- Work to generate business through the liability-based CASA customer base of the bank partner branch. Enable the sales officers in the team and equip them with the required knowledge and skills to pitch relevant products to this base of customers. Ensure need-based selling by doing customer profiling and educating the sales officers in the team to do the same.
- Drive the right product mix
- Driving and supporting all the new business sales and service functions viz. closing sales calls, aiding in the completion of documentation, facilitating pre-insurance medical examination, scrutiny of the proposal papers to minimize the turnaround time in policy issues facilitating renewal premium collections, customer service, etc.
- Ensure the download of key organizational communication with the team for their involvement in the mainstream strategy execution. Implementation of the key company strategies in the branches/geographies assigned
- Promoting the brand image of the Company and implementing all initiatives of the Company related to brand-building exercises, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with the corporate agents.
- Adherence to the company Sales Management Processes & ensure adherence within the team of sales officers
- Providing daily MIS/report of performance.
- Arranging exhibitions, customer meets, cluster meets etc.
- Such other duties as may be entrusted from time to time

- All Leaders across the function includingAM, RM, and ZM
- Subordinate Team
- Channel Partner Bankers

- Scope of work: 5-6 FLS

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum Graduate/bachelor's degree (Postgraduates Preferred)
- Experience: 8-13 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry (Bancassurance Experience Preferred)
- Preferably having managed business & channel development in a Bank distribution-oriented environment
- Age: 28 to 32 years
- Local Candidate
- Must own a vehicle with a valid license

- Proven experience in field sales and channel sales management
- Strong command over local language, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving results
- Excellent knowledge of sales operations and market trends.
