Devops Automation Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team In this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining automation solutions to streamline our software development lifecycle SDLC improve infrastructure efficiency and enhance overall system reliability You will work closely with development operations and security teams to build and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure Responsibilities Design and Implement Automation Design and implement automation solutions for build deployment testing and infrastructure management Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines using industry-standard tools e g Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform Ansible Chef or Puppet Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate them into the CI CD pipeline Infrastructure as Code IaC Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation Ensure infrastructure is scalable resilient and secure Cloud Technologies Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform GCP Automate deployment and management of cloud resources Monitoring and Alerting Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address system issues Configure monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana Datadog or Splunk Develop automated responses to alerts to minimize downtime Security Integrate security best practices into the CI CD pipeline and infrastructure automation Implement automated security testing and compliance checks Collaboration and Documentation Collaborate effectively with development operations and security teams Document automation processes configurations and troubleshooting procedures Share knowledge and mentor other team members Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field Experience 6 years of experience in a DevOps or System Administration role Proven experience with automation and scripting languages e g Python Bash PowerShell Hands-on experience with CI CD tools e g Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps Experience with configuration management tools e g Terraform Ansible Chef Puppet Experience with cloud platforms e g AWS Azure GCP Experience with containerization technologies e g Docker Kubernetes Experience with monitoring and logging tools e g Prometheus Grafana ELK stack Splunk Preferred Skills Security Certifications e g CompTIA Security Certified Cloud Security Professional CCSP Experience with specific cloud provider certifications e g AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Experience with specific security tools and practices Knowledge of ITIL frameworks Job Family Group Technology Job Family Applications Development Time Type Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills please see above and or contact the recruiter Citi is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View Citi s and the poster
