Job Description Role Expectations - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI - Create and optimize data models, including star and snowflake schemas - Develop complex DAX calculations and KPIs to extract actionable business insights - Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Perform data validation and resolve issues to ensure accuracy and performance - Implement row-level security and user-specific data access policies - Advise on Power BI governance, best practices, and self-service analytics strategies - Manage data refresh schedules and monitor report performance - Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery Qualifications - 12+ years of experience in Power BI development - Expertise in advanced DAX and data modeling - Strong proficiency with Power Query/M language - Skilled in dashboard and report design with focus on user experience - Experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server - Knowledge of row-level security, gateway setup, and deployment processes - Familiarity with Power BI REST API and embedding techniques - Proficient in writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions - Experienced in data extraction, transformation, and integration using SQL - Comfortable working with large datasets and tuning for performance
