Job Title: Associate Category Manager Location: [Remote] Department: Category & Growth Key Responsibilities Category Growth: - Drive topline growth by identifying and executing category-level initiatives. - Monitor key performance metrics and take corrective actions to meet revenue and user growth targets. - Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover trends and opportunities. Strategy & Planning: - Develop short and long-term strategies for the category in collaboration with leadership. - Plan product roadmap, pricing, and positioning strategies. - Work closely with the content team to ensure alignment with learner needs and market demand. Operations & Execution: - Ensure seamless day-to-day functioning of category operations. - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and resolve bottlenecks. - Maintain category health by managing inventory, scheduling, and learner feedback loops. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Liaise with marketing for campaign planning and performance tracking. - Partner with sales and customer support teams to ensure strong feedback mechanisms and learner satisfaction. - Act as the voice of the category in internal reviews and planning meetings. Youtube Growth: - Lead YouTube growth through planned content initiatives and optimization. - Track key metrics and improve reach, retention, and engagement. - Collaborate with faculty and YTMs for consistent delivery. - Use YouTube as a top-of-funnel channel for acquisition and lead generation. Qualifications & Skills - 1-3 years of experience in category management, product strategy, business operations, or growth roles (edtech/e-commerce/startup background preferred). - Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills. - Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with a bias for action. - Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and basic SQL is a plus.
