We are inviting applications for the role of SM, Direct Sourcing
In this role, you will be responsible for driving analytics in supply chain and sourcing domain for manufacturing business. You will function as a subject matter expert to drive large projects which will have profound impact on delivery performance (e.g. driving On time delivery, improvements, drive savings for business using domain and analytical knowledge combined with digital and AI).
You will work with operating team to implement blue print processes, digital tools and drive adoption to deliver efficiency and performance improvement
Responsibilities
. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects to work on and be responsible for delivery of outcomes.
. Identify improvement opportunities (efficiency e.g. Robotics & process improvement) and drive them to closure.
. Work with Operating and IT / Digital teams to implement new processes, minimize variation and deploy digital solutions.
. Analyze and synthesize large amounts of data to identify patterns and propose focus areas to drive end business outcomes.
. Align with operations team in adapting change to deliver the outcomes
. Be an agent of change and drive best practices and standard work solutions in teams
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
. Bachelor of Engineering, MBA in Operations management
. Robust domain (sourcing and supply chain) and analytics experience in manufacturing industry vertical
Preferred qualifications
. Project Management Certification - PMP etc
. Experience in digital deployment - Robotics and AI
