Your Contribution

We are seeking a highly skilled Load Test Engineer with proven expertise in JMeter and modern performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance and load tests for complex, large-scale applications. This role requires deep technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering robust, high-performing systems for our top-tier enterprise customer.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using JMeter and other modern load testing tools (e.g., Gatling, Locust, k6, BlazeMeter).
- Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests across multiple application layers (web, API, database).
- Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks in applications, infrastructure, and integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps, developers, architects, and QA teams to tune system performance.
- Automate test execution and integrate with CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validation.
- Generate comprehensive test reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging performance engineering practices, cloud-native performance testing, and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic).

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter (test design, parameterization, correlation, distributed testing).
- Expertise in modern performance testing tools like BlazeMeter, or LoadRunner.
- Solid understanding of performance engineering concepts (latency, throughput, TPS, concurrency, scalability).
- Proficiency in API performance testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
- Experience with cloud-based load testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) for test customization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and test automation integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex findings clearly.

Nice-to-Have

- Exposure to containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) performance testing.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring stacks (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Certification in performance testing or related QA domains.
