JOB TITLE Store Assistant LOCATION Duttapukur Factory West Bengal DEPARTMENT Stores Inventory Management JOB SUMMARY The Store Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the factory store including receiving issuing maintaining inventory records and ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently The role demands attention to detail coordination with production and purchase teams and adherence to company procedures for inventory control Key Responsibilities Assist in receiving materials verifying quantity and quality as per delivery challans and purchase orders Maintain proper records of materials received and issued in registers or Tally systems Ensure safe storage and labeling of materials as per category and usage Support in stock counting and periodic inventory audits Issue materials to departments against proper requisitions and maintain documentation Coordinate with Purchase and Accounts teams for GRN Goods Receipt Note Invoice and Reconciliation Ensure cleanliness safety and proper stacking of materials in the store Monitor minimum stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Store In-Charge Maintain tools equipment consumables and spares in an organized manner Assist in dispatch activities and loading unloading operations when required Required Skills Competencies Basic understanding of storekeeping inventory management and documentation Knowledge of MS Excel Tally preferred Good record-keeping ability Physically fit and capable of handling factory materials safely Honest punctual and responsible in handling company inventory Qualifications Experience 1-3 years of experience in Store Operations preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup Freshers with good attitude and learning ability may also be considered Working Hours As per Factory schedule 10 00A M to 7 P M Monday to Saturday Salary As per Company norms and candidate s experience Job Type Full-time Pay 8 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
