Job Description Infosys is Hiring for 5+ years of Experience in API Testing Job Title: API Tester / Automation API Tester Job Brief: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled API Tester to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of our APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in automated API testing, a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, and proficiency with tools like Postman, SoapUI, and REST Assured. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute API test cases and scenarios based on business requirements. - Automate API tests using tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. - Validate API endpoints for correct data exchange, error handling, and performance. - Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues. - Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and analysts to resolve defects and improve API quality. - Analyze test results and provide actionable insights. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API design and usability. - Continuously improve testing methodologies and frameworks. Preferred Skills: - Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit). - Knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL.
