Sales Manager

Sales Manager will be responsible to implement and manage direct and indirect sales activities, and marketing programs in assigned territory(s) i.e. Rajasthan for the Fluke IG rage of the product. Act as the primary liaison between Fluke and end customer users, with responsibility for generating end customer sales opportunities, demonstrating product to prospective clients, driving end customer demand generation programs within assigned territory(s), closing sales leads generated by the afore mentioned activities. Act as channel manager to assist authorized sales channel partners to properly cover the assigned territory (Rajasthan).
The position assumes a comprehensive knowledge of and experience with positioning, demonstration and selling of Test and measuring instruments which includes Power Analyzer, Earth Tester, Thermal Camera etc. The associate will represent the company's unique business value to customers and prospects across all targeted customer and market segments. The associate will function and flourish in an environment with a high degree of complexity, requiring ingenuity and creativity, especially related to decision-making.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
1. Develop and execute a territory plan that identifies those actions, required, to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets. Provide accurate monthly forecasts that allow for effective business planning and required growth.
2. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
3. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
4. Develop annual and quarterly sales plans focused on the Process, Heavy Industry, Oil &Gas & Industrial market segment; work with local channel partners/ End Customers to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
5. Develop and Build relationship with focused key accounts in that region.
6. Develop and nurture new and existing channel partners.
- Articulate value propositions that secure partner commitment
- Point of contact for day-to-day relationship management issues
- Establish joint business plans with partners.
- Outline sales and technical readiness plans for partners
1. Works closely with the Field Marketing organization to ensure consistent and appropriate outbound marketing and marcom programs are executed to ensure sufficient lead generation and awareness in the assigned territory.
2. Exceeds customer expectations by anticipating needs and communicating the value and benefits of our complete solution offering.
3. Develops and maintains close customer relationships using appropriate organizational tools and processes.
4. Coordinates and communicates sales and marketing efforts for the assigned territory.
5. Maintain records in corporate CRM and salesforce automation tool and reports on territory activity on a consistent basis.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
1. Min of 7-8 years' work experience
2. Must have knowledge and Experience of selling test and measuring instruments.
3. Must have knowledge of customer personas in Cement plants , process Industry, Defense, Education etc.
4. Must be aware of Rajasthan territory and have relationship with key customers in that region.
5. Must be able to work effectively in a matrix sales environment with peers, inside sales and regional management, to drive customer initiatives.
6. Must be able to work with a minimum of direct management oversight; able to make proper decisions through analytical thought processes.
7. A well-developed understanding of solution selling; effectively differentiating value, through insightful, creative and assertive thinking.
8. Must consistently demonstrate excellent communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
9. Have the ability to establish credibility and trust by understanding and helping customers meet their own internal business objectives.
10. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
11. Proven ability to sell, as evidenced by a minimum of 5+ years of success, a record of accomplishment, combined with proven domain expertise and channel business.
12. Proven track record of successfully building a strong territory pipeline of enterprise customers directly and with carrier partnerships.
