Job descriptionSome careers have more impact than others If youre looking for a career where you can make a real impression join HSBC and discover how valued youll be HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 62 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Finance Operations Principal responsibilities Investigate various Intercompany reconciliation back up documentation for reconciliations and schedules Should be proficient in financial statement closure procedures Hands-on knowledge of derivatives reconciliation accounting structures related to trading books Knowledge of Intercompany accounting related processes Analytical skills to perform Intercompany variance analysis and other analysis Functional experience in Intercompany accounting for all balance sheet income statement heads Experience in Saracen GRCA Intercompany related accounts and the related FSLI Ensure adherence to audit assurance and compliance requirements Requirements Chartered Accountant CPA MBA Finance Finance Graduate with 5-6 years of experience Good understanding of Fusion FTP PSGL etc Good technical understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated competence in their application Ability to understand and implement Groups risk management policy Experience of interacting with internal and external auditors Strong Accounting Analysis Reconciliation skills Proficient analytical review skills ability to add value to customer deliverables through understanding of the business lateral thinking Youll achieve more when you join HSBC HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by HSBC Electronic Data Processing India Private LTD
