Job Description Job description: - Plan & carry out mine pit surveys as per DGMS & IBM requirements - Survey for submission self appraisal for 5 star rating to Ministry of Mines. - Facilitate plant team for monthly quantity survey of stock piles to enable physical verification. - Demarcation of areas for mining as per the scheme of mining. - Demarcation of borehole locations for carrying out the exploratory drilling. - Updating & Preparation of Cross Section showing the annual movement of benches & faces. 2. Prepare maps, plans and section - Retrieval of data from instrument, verification of data & execution through software - Preparation of statutory Surface Plans, working Section, Water Danger Plan, Environment Plan, slice plans for submission to DGMS, IBM and other concerned Govt. agencies as required. - Review of maps, plans & sections for their correctness. Identification any anomality's & correcting the same forthwith. 3. Mining Lease, Statutory Permissions and Statutory compliances - Implementation of compliances as per guidance - Carryout survey as per directives to fulfill the objective of making plans/sections required for the purpose - Prepare the required maps for mining plans & progressive mine closure plans for submission to Indian Bureau of Mines for seeking approval. - Checking of Lease Boundary Pillars & Refixing the same as and when required. - Intimation, when working of the mine have approached to about 75 meters from the mine boundary, or from disused or waterlogged working for taking necessary measures. - Maintaining competent person record 4. Safety - Engagement in Department meetings / SAM / GRT meetings. - Timely submission of SO, Near miss and compliance to safety training. - Identification of abnormalities, deviations & its correction at site. 5. System Implementation - Engagement in tool box talk meeting & MCM - Participation in Kaizen/Suggestion/OPL - Motivating workmen for continual improvement.
