Were Hiring: Maintenance Engineer Faade Industry

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5-6 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other Engineering Stream

Industry: Faade / Metal Fabrication / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance for faade manufacturing machinery, tools, and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation system faults with minimal production disruption.
- Lead breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring quick recovery and root cause resolution.
- Oversee operation, calibration, and upkeep of CNC machines, hydraulic presses, aluminium cutting, bending, and machining equipment.
- Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and production lines.
- Monitor machine performance metrics, identify potential failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, reports, and spare parts inventory records.
- Coordinate with vendors for spares procurement, service contracts, and AMC management.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, statutory regulations, and maintenance SOPs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement preventive measures.
- Support internal/external plant audits and compliance reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff and machine operators.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in faade, aluminium, glass, or metal fabrication industries.
- Strong expertise in CNC operations, hydraulics, automation systems, and electrical controls.
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, safety compliance, and interpreting technical drawings/manuals.
- Solid knowledge of preventive & predictive maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle management.
- Basic MS Excel and maintenance management software skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
