Job Title: Electronics Quality Lead

Department: Quality Assurance

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to: Quality Head

Job Overview:

The Electronics Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring that all electronic products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves overseeing the quality control processes, leading the quality team, and working closely with the engineering and production teams to identify and address any quality-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, quality assurance, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Management:

- Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure the production of high-quality electronic products.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and systems.
- Monitor the production process to identify potential areas for quality improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product quality, process efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Use data analysis tools to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and reduce defects.

Collaboration & Reporting:

- Collaborate with design, engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure product quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC standards).

Training & Development:

- Provide training and guidance to the quality team on best practices, inspection methods, and quality standards.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across all departments and provide ongoing training to employees as necessary.

Customer Interaction:

- Handle customer complaints and feedback regarding product quality.
- Lead investigations into field failures or returns, working with relevant teams to identify causes and implement solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in electronics quality assurance or quality control, with at least 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with electronic components, circuit boards, and product assembly processes.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards
- Proficiency in quality tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, root cause analysis, statistical process control, Six Sigma).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office Suite, etc.).

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Medical Device experience will be preferred.
