Company Description At Altisource NASDAQ ASPS we build world-class technologies and services for the mortgage and real estate industry and are well-poised to help revolutionize how homes are bought sold and managed In the US we partner with 7 out of the top 10 mortgage servicers operate one of the top three real estate auction websites and manage a cooperative which represents a 15 market share of the 1 8tn US Originations market Combining operational excellence with a suite of innovative products and technologies Altisource helps solve the demands of the ever-changing market With innovation as a guiding principle and a focus on compliance and exceptional service we provide end-to-end solutions in originations and servicing and offer online real estate platforms for consumers and investors Founded in 2009 we continue to grow globally and add to our team of seasoned industry experts innovators and collaborators relentlessly focused on driving results Our workplace is fast-paced as we re constantly evolving to meet the needs of the industry and the customers we serve Altisource is driving global software innovation with an end goal of causing major disruption in the financial services industry and beyond We are seeking a NOC Engineer to oversee our infrastructure and application services In this role the associate will be responsible for monitoring reacting to alerts events generated and troubleshooting problems develops and maintains system documentation run-books and production metrics reporting Roles Responsibilities Monitor and support the company s production systems and applications by using the monitoring and diagnostic tools Efficient at following tracking issues that are appearing on the NOC perform first level of analysis and work with the IT teams to bring it to closure Monitor product Batch jobs troubleshoot all types of problems and determine impact on the current production schedule Escalate and collaborate with different Support groups Service Owners Vendors and Third Party Service Providers to ensure uninterrupted availability of services Work proactively with the Applications Systems and Database teams to continually optimize the Application performance batch job streams and improve the job performance Work closely with Systems Applications Database and Network teams to manage changes to the production environment equipment operating systems and application software and database systems Responsible for creating and managing daily weekly monthly performance metrics reports Contribute to knowledge base articles and updating process documents and playbooks whenever there is a change in process or new applications or processes are added Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience 2 years of extensive experience in NOC Working knowledge of Logic monitor tool preferred Experienced and proficient with troubleshooting techniques and problem solving in a 24x7-production environment SaaS web Experience with scripting and command line in a Linux environment Knowledge of database management and application stacks will be an advantage Knowledge and hands-on experience with application web server technology Apache Tomcat IIS etc Understanding of basic network protocols TCP IP HTTP FTP etc and utilities Telnet SSH CURL etc Working knowledge of Incident and Problem Management tools Good oral and written communication skills and ability to address conflict with others constructively Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision Ability to work a flexible schedule Additional Information Prosperity Competitive salary based on your experience and skills - we believe the top talent deserves the top rupee Bonus Potential - if you go above and beyond you should be rewarded Good Health Comprehensive insurance plans like Medical Personal Accident Benefit and Life Insurance Wellness Programs examples include eye examination diabetes checkup camp hemoglobin check and health talks Happiness 10 paid holidays plus 26 paid days off per year Lots of employee engagement activities both offsite examples include family cricket football games annual company celebrations and happy hours and onsite examples include office stress buster events holiday parties and quarterly Living our Values celebrations Opportunities to join our community service initiatives including Habitat for Humanity
