Anamika Ananth is a boutique fashion label rooted in indigenous textiles and crafts, creating contemporary pieces for a global audience. We are seeking a proactive and analytical operations professional to support our growing design house. If you're someone who can translate long-term goals into actionable short-term plans and are excited to be part of a hands-on, creative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
As part of a close-knit team, you'll work directly with the founder/creative director, gaining firsthand experience in growing and scaling a purpose-driven business in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor & Artisan Management: Source fabrics and trims; maintain a database of vendors and artisans.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage current inventory levels across product lines.
- Merchandising & Retail Liaison: Coordinate with store representatives; support merchandising efforts.
- Market & Product Research: Analyze viability for new product lines and expansion opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports with actionable insights.
- Creative Support (Bonus): Assist with shoot planning and social media coordination as needed.
Who You Are
- 1+ years of experience in operations; experience in fashion labels is a plus.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Textile Management or similar.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and Tally.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Skilled at managing multiple product lines and allocating resources effectively.
- A strategic and analytical thinker who can turn broad visions into detailed plans.
