Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - L1 NOC Monitoring Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Monitoring Engineer with experience Network Operations Center (NOC) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for 24x7 monitoring of IT infrastructure, identifying performance and security issues, and ensuring fast incident response and resolution. This hybrid role is crucial for maintaining uptime, performance, and security of enterprise systems and networks. Responsibilities - Azure Monitor and Zendesk for monitoring and alerting, with Snowflake for reporting - Monitor network, server, application, and security alerts using NOC tools. - Identify, triage, and escalate security incidents and infrastructure outages. - Work with IT, network, and security teams to resolve events and incidents. - Perform initial troubleshooting and document issues for escalation when needed. - Create and update incident tickets in systems like ServiceNow. - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in refining them. - Participate in shift-based 24x7 support rotations. - Generate daily/weekly reports for system health, uptime, and security events. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Experience in NOC environment. - Familiarity with network protocols, infrastructure components, and security concepts. - Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Zendesk, Nagios). - Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and VPNs. - Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 environment. - Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
