Job Description

V2 Retail is looking for aSenior SAP ABAP Developer (7+ years experience)to join our IT team. The role involvesdesigning, developing, and supporting SAP applicationsusing ABAP programming. The candidate should have strong technical expertise incustom developments, enhancements, reports, forms, and interfacesacross SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and implementABAP programs, reports, forms (SmartForms/Adobe), and enhancements.
- Create and maintainRFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
- Work oninterfaces (IDOC, ALE, OData, Web services)for integration with other systems.
- Optimizeexisting ABAP programsfor performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with functional consultants (MM, SD, FICO, HR, etc.) to provide technical solutions.
- Performcode reviews, debugging, and root cause analysisfor production issues.
- Prepare and maintaintechnical documentation.
- Ensurecompliance with SAP coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provideknowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge ofABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and Performance Tuning.
- Expertise inReports, Module Pool, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
- Hands-on experience withSmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
- Good exposure toIDOC, ALE, OData, RFC, and Web services.
- Experience working across multiple SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO, HR).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Experience withSAP HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.
- Knowledge ofFiori/UI5 integration with ABAP services.
- Familiarity withSAP Solution Manager, Change Management, and CTS+.
- Exposure toretail industry-specific SAP processes.
