Role Overview:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and executing social media content across multiple platforms for both Indian and international clients. You must be highly creative, organized, and possess a strong understanding of content marketing strategies tailored for different industries and audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop monthly content calendars for clients with clear goals and KPIs.
- Research industry trends, hashtags, and competitor content.
- Ideate and execute social media campaigns and weekly themes.
Content Creation & Execution
- Write compelling captions, scripts, and post copy tailored for each platform.
- Collaborate with graphic designers & video editors to create carousels, reels, and static posts.
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms and clients.
Platform Management
- Handle Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube or more for clients and company.
- Schedule and post content using tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
- Engage with the community, respond to comments and DMs.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor engagement, growth, and content performance using insights & analytics tools.
- Generate monthly performance reports with improvement suggestions.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams (performance, outreach, sales) for alignment.
- Attend client meetings when required to present strategies and performance.
What Were Looking For:
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in social media content management (agency experience preferred).
- Proven portfolio or Instagram/LinkedIn examples is a must.
Creativity:
- Ability to write crisp hooks, viral captions, script reels, and ideate engaging campaigns.
- Eye for visual aesthetics and content that converts.
Strategic Thinking:
- Understanding of what works organically vs paid, and how to scale content that performs.
- Able to tie content back to business goals and performance metrics.
Tools Knowledge:
- Canva, Meta Suite, Instagram Analytics, Trello, Notion, Google Sheets, Hootsuite, Buffer
- Bonus: Familiarity with ChatGPT/AI tools for content research and ideation.
