A reputed service consultancy firm in India is seeking a Design Engineer – Fire to join our Chennai office (full-time, on-site).

📍 Location: Chennai

🎓 Qualification: BE Mechanical

💼 Experience: 2–4 years

What you’ll work on:

✅ Hydrant, pump, sprinkler, detection & alarm systems

✅ Gas suppression & voice evacuation systems

✅ NBC / NFPA / FM / UL compliance

✅ Load estimates, pipe sizing & space planning

✅ 2D schematics, BOQs, specifications, RFIs & approvals

✅ CAD & MS Office documentation

✅ Site monitoring, client coordination & leadership

What we’re looking for:

🌟 Strong knowledge of fire protection & safety standards

🌟 Hands-on experience with fire system design & approvals

🌟 Good communication & client-facing skills

🌟 Willingness to travel when required
