Fire Fighting Design

**Pre-Order and Post Order Design Support**
- Responsible for supporting BD Team to understand tender/ bid requirements, create detailed design & derive BOM/ BOQ
- To determine feasibility of executing the project basis design and cost
- Depute draftsman/ design engineer to client site
- Discuss in detail with the client and understand their specifications and architect drawing
- Allocate work to the CAD team or third-party vendor, if required, after making the initial planning and deciding the detailing requirements. Decide the number of drawing plates initially, keeping in mind the requirements of the client
- Validate the CAD drawings, considering the design sign off document, the survey inputs and client requirements and ensure that the extent of detailing made is adequate. Ensure that the detailing is made in such a way that wastage of materials is reduced to the maximum extent.
- Interface with the client and describe the shop drawing. Convince the client on the design system applied and get it approved. Ensure that the approval happens within the initial few sittings
- Hold design team meeting and describe the shop drawing to projects team. Coordinate and oversee accurate workings and calculations (BoM/ BoQ).
- Ensure “as built drawings” are developed and submitted as per client requirements.

**New Product and Re-engineering**
- Receive design request from Business Development. Based on the request, develop an understanding of the needs and requirements of the new product/ re-engineering.
- Conduct a market survey to gather data. Analyse the data collected to support in conceptualising the product/ re-engineering.
- Evolve the system considering all the technical parameters, cost, and availability of materials. Discuss the same with BD Team and finalize the design signoff document based on inputs and approval.

**Cross Functional Support & Team Management**
- Coordinate with other departments like fabrication, purchase, site, safeties. In case of technical clarifications and design inputs.
- Complete all design projects on time through appropriate allocation of work to the team members. Plan and obtain the required resources as per requirements, including manpower, equipment, etc. such that all projects are managed well in terms of quality, cost, delivery parameters and safety parameters.
- In case of shortcomings / difficulties, take appropriate action in consultation with the BD and Tenders team so that timelines are respected.

**Process Adherence and Compliance**
- Adhere to systems and processes pertaining to design team and make continual improvements so as to meet to the customer demands. Ensure adherence to ISO systems.
- Ensure compliance to all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements applicable to the department.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹36,369.73 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Fire Fighting Design: 2 years (preferred)
- Design: 2 years (preferred)
