Job Description Team Leader - Accounting & Audit 1. Financial Statements & Audits - Preparation of Financial Statements as per Schedule III of the Companies Act. - Preparation of Audit Schedules for: Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, Internal Financial Control Reporting (IFCR) and Risk Control Matrix (RCM), Cost Audit. - Coordinate with Internal Auditors for quarterly reviews and ensure timely closure of audit findings. - Liaise with Group Internal Auditors and Statutory Auditors for smooth finalization of audited financials. 2. Statutory Returns & Assessments - Collect GST, PAN, and MSME declarations from suppliers. - File MSME Returns within statutory timelines. - Prepare and file Monthly WHT (TDS) Returns as per applicable sections. - Prepare and file Quarterly TDS Returns and issue Form 16A certificates. - Review, reconcile, and file Monthly GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-3B) ensuring matching with GL and ECL balances. - Follow up with vendors for unclaimed Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure proper reconciliation. - Prepare and file Annual GST Returns. - Prepare workings for Tax, GST, Customs, and DGFT assessments and coordinate with consultants for completion. 3. Income Tax - Prepare and remit Advance Tax on a quarterly basis. - Compute Deferred Tax and Minimum Alternate Tax (MAT) workings. - Compute Annual Income Tax and ensure timely filing of Income Tax Returns. 4. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Define, document, and implement SOPs for all functions. - Ensure periodic review and updates based on audit findings and process improvements. 5. Prokura Guidelines - Prepare and maintain Internal Financial Controls (IFC) for each finance work area. - Ensure strict adherence to the Prokura guidelines and authorization matrix without deviation. - Reinforce accountability and compliance across all financial operations.
