Freelance ASO & ASA Specialist (Performance-Based)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced App Store Optimization (ASO) & Apple Search Ads (ASA) Specialist to drive high-quality downloads for our app. This is a freelance role with a strong performance-based compensation structure your fee will be variable and directly linked to the number of downloads generated. We're looking for a partner interested in a long-term collaboration rather than a short-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute an ASO strategy to maximize visibility and conversion across iOS and Android app stores.
- Plan, manage, and optimize ASA campaigns with a clear focus on ROI and high-quality user acquisition.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and A/B testing to continuously refine performance.
- Provide actionable insights and regular reporting on downloads, rankings, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure alignment between app positioning, creative assets, and marketing strategy.
- Continuously experiment with new approaches to maximize organic and paid growth.

Requirements

- 5+ years of proven experience in ASO and ASA with measurable results in scaling app downloads.
- Strong track record of performance marketing with apps across different categories (preferably parenting, education, or lifestyle apps is a plus).
- Expertise in keyword optimization, conversion optimization, and funnel improvements.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools such as AppTweak, Mobile Action, SensorTower, or similar.
- Self-driven, reliable, and open to working in a variable fee structure tied to results.
- Strong interest in building a long-term partnership, not just a short-term project.

Compensation

This is not a full-time role.

Compensation will be performance-based, linked to the number and quality of downloads achieved.
