Job Title: Presales Engineer - AV Solutions About Cornea: Cornea is a leading provider of integrated display and smart classroom solutions, offering a wide range of products including Interactive Flat Panels, Active LED Walls, Digital Signage, PTZ Cameras, Video Conferencing Systems, and Smart Tablets. We cater to government, educational, and enterprise clients across India. Role Summary: The Presales Engineer - AV Solutions will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing technically sound and commercially viable AV solutions, and supporting the sales team with proposals, presentations, and demonstrations. This position bridges the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs to ensure tailored AV deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with sales team to gather and understand customer requirements - Conduct detailed site surveys, requirement analysis, and client discussions - Design and propose AV solutions involving products like interactive flat panels, video walls, PTZ cameras, microphones, and smart classroom kits - Prepare technical Bill of Materials (BOQ), solution diagrams, wiring layouts, and cost estimates - Conduct demos and proof of concept presentations (onsite and remote) - Assist in preparing technical proposals, compliance matrices, and RFP/RFQ responses - Coordinate with OEM partners, procurement, and internal teams for solution validation and product feasibility - Support the sales team during client negotiations with technical clarifications - Collaborate with project and service teams for seamless implementation and handover - Stay updated on AV technologies, competitors, and market trends Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, IT, or related field - 3-6 years of experience in presales / solution engineering in the AV or EdTech domain - Good understanding of AV signal flow, display technologies, integration of audio-visual systems, and networking basics - Experience working with smart classroom setups, digital signage, or video conferencing systems - Strong communication and presentation skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD / Visio / Excel / PowerPoint - Familiarity with CRM/ERP tools (e.g., Odoo) preferred - Willingness to travel for site visits, demos, and client interactions Preferred (but not mandatory): - CTS (Certified Technology Specialist - AVIXA) or other relevant certifications - Experience with government tenders (GEM portal, RFP compliance) - Exposure to education, PSU, or corporate AV projects What We Offer: - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AV and EdTech projects across India - Dynamic work environment with a rapidly growing team - Competitive salary + incentive structure - Career development opportunities and continuous learning
