Job description:

OpenBMCdevelopment role typically involvesdesigning, developing, and maintaining firmware for Baseboard Management Controllers (BMCs) using theOpenBMCopen-source framework

Required Skills:

- Programming:Strong proficiency in C and C++.
- Linux:Solid understanding of Linux-based embedded systems and the Yocto Project.
- Hardware:Familiarity with hardware components, board bring-up, and common bus protocols (I2C, SPI, etc.).
- OpenBMC:Hands-on experience with theOpenBMC framework and its components.
- Debugging:Experience with debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Communication:Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Contributions toOpenBMC or otheropen-source projects.
- Experience with Redfish, IPMI, and otherBMC-related standards.
- Familiarity with server hardware platforms (x86, ARM, etc.).
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with hardware bring-up.
