Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant (AP) to join our team. This role will be primarily responsible for the cleanup and coding of bank transactions for clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with digital-first businesses like YouTubers and influencers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform cleanup and categorization/coding of bank transactions for 150+ new clients monthly.
- Review, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of AP-related financial data.
- Identify and correct discrepancies, misclassifications, or missing transaction details.
- Support onboarding of new creator clients by setting up accurate AP processes in accounting systems.
- Collaborate with client service teams to ensure proper classification of influencer-related expenses (e.g., production costs, sponsorship payments, ad spend).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and accounting best practices.
- Prepare periodic reports on AP and transaction coding status for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ability to Review Credit Card and bank statements, segregate personal vs business expenses and code the business expenses correctly.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of transaction coding, reconciliations, and AP processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar).
- Working knowledge about various prepaid and credit card applications like Travel Card, Ramp, Divvy etc., preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume transaction environments.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and clients.
- Experience working with creator economy clients (YouTubers, influencers, digital content creators) is a plus.
- Preferably looking for Immediate joiners or with upto 15-25 days' notice period
