Key duties include developing and updating curricula, monitoring teaching and student performance, providing academic advising, coordinating teacher professional development, and ensuring compliance with educational policies and standards. They act as a vital link between administration, faculty, students, and parents, ensuring smooth academic operations and an effective learning environment.
Curriculum and Program ManagementDevelop and Update Curriculum:Work with academic staff to design, revise, and implement curricula to meet educational standards and learner needs. Monitor Programs:Oversee teaching activities, examinations, and other academic events to ensure quality and standards are maintained. Ensure Compliance:Adhere to educational board regulations and school policies, ensuring the academic programs comply with all requirements. Teacher and Student SupportSupport Teachers:Provide guidance on instructional strategies, assist with professional development, and offer support with administrative tasks. Advise Students:Counsel students on academic goals, course selection, study habits, and career paths. Monitor Student Progress:Analyze student performance data, maintain student records, and communicate progress to parents. Communication and CoordinationLiaise Between Stakeholders:Act as a central point of contact between students, faculty, administration, and parents, facilitating effective communication. Coordinate Academic Events:Organize workshops, seminars, and other academic programs to enhance the learning experience.
