Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical & Electronics Vehicle Integration Engineer to design electrical systems and manage the layout and packaging of electrical/electronic parts within the vehicle DMU (Digital Mock-Up). You will be responsible for defining electrical system diagrams that meet all regulatory and homologation requirements, while also ensuring functionality and manufacturability. This role requires close coordination with plants, service teams, and other R&D functions, as well as involvement in testing activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Electrical System Design: Design the electrical system and its electrical/electronic components.
- Layout and Packaging: Handle the layout and packaging of parts within the vehicle DMU (Digital Mock-Up), considering all aspects of functionality, manufacturability, and serviceability.
- System Diagram Definition: Define the electrical system diagram for given projects, ensuring all regulatory and Homologation requirements are met.
- Input Provision: Provide necessary inputs to horizontal teams for the design of electrical parts as per the product brief.
- Cross-functional Interaction: Interact with manufacturing plants to handle production issues, engage with service teams for field-related concerns, and coordinate internally within R&D.
- Testing & Reporting: Coordinate testing activities and assist in preparation for senior-level meetings.

Skills Required:

- Strong experience in designing electrical systems for vehicles.
- Proficiency in electrical/electronic systems layout and packaging within a DMU environment.
- Ability to define electrical system diagrams considering regulatory and Homologation requirements.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for interacting with manufacturing plants, service teams, and R&D colleagues.
- Familiarity with testing activities and preparing for senior management discussions.

QUALIFICATION:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
