Business Development Executive - Government Business Description We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Genetec India Based in Delhi the successful candidate will focus on building and driving our Government business establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities within the government sector What your day will look like Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth targets in the government sector Build and maintain relationships with government agencies departments and other relevant stakeholders Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research and networking Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to government clients Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services Monitor government policies regulations and industry trends to identify potential business impacts and opportunities Attend industry events conferences and meetings to network and promote Genetec s offerings Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system Provide regular reports and updates on business development progress and performance against targets About you Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in the government sector Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Willingness to travel as required Preferred Skills Experience working with government contracts and tenders Knowledge of the security technology industry Proficiency in local languages and dialects Genetec is an equal opportunity employer we strive for diversity and inclusion through our recruitment approach as well as the training and professional development we provide We partner with external associations and implement internal initiatives to provide a welcoming work environment for employees from all backgrounds 4 5 5 agreed in our 2022 Internal Engagement People of all age gender identity race sexual orientation physical or mental ability ethnicity and perspective are valued here
