Job Description Position: Lead .NET Developer (Contract) Location: Remote Contract Type: Full-time Contract Workload: 8 hours per day Experience: 6+ years Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Lead .NET Developer (Contract) with strong expertise in .NET Framework 4.8.1, MVC 5, SQL Server, and Azure services. This role goes beyond codingrequiring technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and guiding the team in delivering scalable and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will be an independent contributor as well as a mentor, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end system design, development, and deployment of .NET applications. - Architect and maintain applications using .NET Framework 4.8.1, MVC 5, C#, and SQL Server. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices. - Oversee smooth front-end and back-end integration with responsive UI (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Design and implement solutions using Azure services (Functions, VM, VMSS, App Services, etc.). - Define and manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to coding standards with SonarQube. - Own overall system architecture and scalability decisions. - Act as a key point of contact for requirement analysis, solutioning, and stakeholder communication. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, production-ready software. Requirements - 6+ years of proven hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.8.1, MVC 5, C#, SQL Server. - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for front-end integration. - Expertise in Azure cloud services (Functions, VM, VMSS, App Services, etc.). - Strong experience with CI/CD setup and SonarQube integration. - Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and scalability principles. - Ability to lead a team, guide junior developers, and ensure best engineering practices. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
