Role Overview

We are seeking a Risk & Finance Technology Specialist with strong expertise in SQL, database applications, and financial data models. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing data flow, enhancing analytical systems, and supporting the migration of Essbase cubes to modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, analyze, and optimize data flow and data models for finance and risk technology applications.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including advanced joins and analytical functions.
- Work with databases such as Oracle and Netezza to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications.
- Decompose existing Essbase Cubes:
- Analyze cube structures and logic.
- Document metadata, hierarchies, and business rules.
- Prepare solutions for migration or rebuild on modern platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in risk or finance technology domains.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Working knowledge of Oracle, Netezza, or similar databases.
- Solid understanding of data flows, data modeling, and database applications.
- Hands-on experience with Essbase cubes (design, structure, business rules, and migration).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
