Job Description Job Description: - We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe Lead to oversee the development maintenance and optimization of mainframe systems - This role involves leading a team of developers ensuring system reliability and implementing best practices for performance security and compliance Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage mainframe development teams across project lifecycles - Design develop and maintain applications using COBOL JCL CICS DB2 and IMS - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure high availability performance and scalability of mainframe systems - Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices - Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure data security compliance - Guide modernization efforts and integration with distributed systems - Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers - Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues - Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes Technical Requirements: - Primary skills Technology Mainframe Technologies Mainframe Technologies ALL Additional Responsibilities: - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field - 6 years of experience in mainframe development and architecture - Proficiency in COBOL JCL CICS DB2 and IMS - Experience with scripting languages like REXX Shell or Groovy - Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and tools - Familiarity with DevOps CI CD and Agile Scrum methodologies - Excellent problem solving analytical and communication skills - Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams Preferred Skills: Technology->Mainframe Technologies->Mainframe Technologies- ALL->Mainframe Job Schedulers/Job Monitoring Tools
