Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning and Development: Developing & implementing the company’s strategic plan in alignment.
- Project Management: Overseeing the execution of strategic projects & initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Corporate Planning/ Development: Identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances. Lead due diligence processes and negotiations for corporate development activities.
- Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Fostering a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth. Oversee the development of new products, services, and business models.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives. Communicate strategic goals and progress to various stakeholders.

Key Skills & Attributes:

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
- High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
- Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and commercial implications.

Preferred Qualifications:

- BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.).
- 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors
- Prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting
- Experience in techno-commercial functions is a strong advantage
