Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions.
- Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, leases, and other real estate matters.
- Ensure compliance with local real estate laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support dispute resolution and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
- Conduct due diligence for property-related transactions.
- Advise on risk management strategies and legal implications for real estate projects.
- Work closely with internal teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on legal matters.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in law from a recognised institution and relevant legal qualifications.
- PQE of 8-10 years
- Experience in handling real estate matters, including property transactions and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations in India, especially in Maharashtra, Goa and north India
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
