Role Overview : Database Associate is responsible for managing and maintaining program data systems, ensuring data quality, supporting collection processes, conducting analyses, and providing accurate reports for donor and internal requirements. The role ensures effective use of monitoring tools and dashboards while supporting programmatic decision-making through data insigh ts. Key Responsibili ties 1. Database Manag - ementConsolidate data from multiple spreadsheets into a single, unified data - base.Conduct regular data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consist - ency.Maintain an organized, error-free, and up-to-date data base. 2. Data Collection & Reporting S - upportAssist the Monitoring Coordinator in training program/partner teams on data collection - tools.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues pro - mptly.Provide accurate data inputs and analysis for donor and program re - ports.Respond to data-related queries during reporting proc esses.3. Coordination and An - alysisWork closely with the State Monitoring Coordinator and program teams to generate insights from - data.Coordinate with multiple teams (program, operations, hub, MarCom, donors) to ensure timely repo - rting.Support in-depth data analysis for Level 3 (L3) and Level 4 (L4) program re - views.Assist in deriving key programmatic insights from data to inform deci sions. 4. Monitoring Tool and Dashboard - SupportTest deployed monitoring tools and dashboards and provide actionable fe - edback.Ensure state teams complete tool testing and share feedback within tim - elines.Support in periodic validation of dashboar d data. 5. Compliance & Issue Re - solutionEnsure 100% compliance with the use of monitoring tools by all implementatio - n teams.Identify data gaps, escalate issues, and support timely res - olution.Collaborate with state and central monitoring teams for data validation and updates on das hboards. Required Competencies - / SkillsBachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's degree p - referred.Experience in database management and data analysis, preferably in the socia - l sector.Strong proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite (Excel, Google Sheets advance - d level).Ability to work with large datasets and develop insightful - reports.Experience with form-building platforms (ODK, Kobo, SurveyMonke - y, etc.).Familiarity with data analysis software (SPSS, Stata) is an a - dvantage.Strong communication and coordinatio - n skills.Attention to detail and ability to meet d eadlines.
