Greetings from Synergy Resource Solutions a leading HR Consultancy firm Career Guide for Professionals like you We are hiring for one of our leading clients Client A Leading D2C baby product brand was founded in 2014 in Ahmedabad Gujarat Company is having annual turnover of around 200 Crs employee strength of 200 employees they are providing international safety standard certified bay products by their e-commerce website online market platforms like Amazon Flipkart other leading online offline platforms Job Title - Deputy General Manager-Procurement Working days and timings - 9 30 am to 6 30 pm 2nd 4th Saturday off Location - Ahmedabad HO Experience - 15 years 10-14 years of procurement experience in manufacturing plastics injection moulding auto or baby products Qualification - Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering CTC 120000 - 150000 per month Key Responsibilities 1 Category Procurement Planning Own the procurement of plastic resins moulded components hardware packaging and consumables across categories Plan monthly and quarterly material procurement schedules based on production forecasts Ensure on-time delivery of all critical components to support moulding and assembly lines 2 Vendor Development Negotiation Identify evaluate and onboard vendors for injection moulding mould fabrication and sub-assemblies Negotiate commercial terms MOQs and annual price contracts Conduct vendor audits and track cost quality and delivery performance Develop secondary backup suppliers for critical components 3 Tooling Mould Procurement Coordination Manage procurement of new moulds and tools from RFQ to PO vendor monitoring and trial approvals Coordinate with Product Development Tool Room and Quality for tooling changes and validation Maintain a master tracker for moulds including life cycles revisions and ownership records 4 Cost Optimization MIS Execute cost-reduction projects through re-engineering alternate sourcing and localization Analyze spend data variance vs budgets and procurement KPIs for management review Prepare weekly and monthly MIS dashboards for procurement progress savings and risk items 5 Team Process Management Supervise a small team of buyers executives ensuring adherence to SOPs and system hygiene ERP Train team members on vendor management documentation and technical sourcing Collaborate closely with Planning QA Finance and Operations for smooth process flow Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering MBA PGD in Supply Chain or Materials preferred 10-14 years of procurement experience in manufacturing plastics injection moulding auto or baby products Strong technical understanding of resins moulds and tooling processes Key Skills Category management strategic sourcing Tooling and new product procurement Cost negotiation supplier development Data analysis and reporting Excel Power BI Vendor audit compliance handling Cross-functional coordination Behavioral Traits Hands-on and highly accountable Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills Strong planning and prioritization Calm under pressure with solution-driven mindset Collaborative leadership Performance Metrics Cost reduction achieved vs plan Supplier on-time delivery Mould tool procurement lead-time adherence Alternate vendor ratio Inventory turns PO accuracy Internal stakeholder satisfaction score Benefits for their employees - Mediclaim for employee along with spouse and child upto 2 Personal accidental Insurance of employee No sandwich leave policy flexible working hours Performance Bonus to Best performers in every quarter Paid Maternal Paternal leaves Yearly performance appraisal All perks and Leaves are given from the day of joining no restrictions during probation period Fun employee engagement activities every month CSR activities done on monthly basis Employee Birthday and Work Anniversary Celebrations Employee friendly culture to encourage good work life balance If your profile is matching with requirement if you are interested for this job please share your updated resume with details of your present salary expectations notice period
