Role Description We are seeking a motivated Merchandiser (Leather Goods) to support our merchandising team. This role involves assisting in product development, sample approvals, vendor coordination, order follow-ups, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities · Assist in buyer communication regarding samples, approvals, and order details. · Coordinate with vendors for raw materials (leather, linings, hardware, etc.) and follow up on timelines. · Support in tracking production schedules and ensuring timely order execution. · Work with quality teams to ensure products meet buyer specifications and standards. · Assist in preparing reports, trackers, and maintaining merchandising documentation. · Stay updated on trends in leather goods and provide inputs for new product development. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Leather Technology/LEATHER ACCESSORIES is a MUST. · 3–7 years’ experience in merchandising, in leather goods only (bags, small leather goods, accessories, watch straps). · Knowledge of leather materials, finishes, and accessory components. · Strong organizational and coordination skills. · Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). · Good communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and clients. · Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
