About the team:

‘Design Solutions’ as a team works on various in-app creatives that will ensure the best experience for our users. We are looking for a design manager who can lead/inspire the young team.

Responsibilities:

- Displays an understanding of key business drivers and metrices of the Swiggy Business in general and one's BU in particular.
- Displays an awareness of key competitors, their offerings and Unique Selling Proposition (USP) vs that of Swiggy's.
- Demonstrates adaptability by making earnest efforts to break the comfort zone and explore the ‘new’ (products, services, policies, people, place etc.)
- Focuses on deliverables and works towards accomplishing the set goals by constantly reviewing progress and sending updates to one's manager,
- Presents one’s thoughts and views clearly and confidently .
- Displays persuasiveness through prompt follow-up, persistent reminders etc.
- Proven ability to think conceptually to solve design problems proactively
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing task priorities and workload in a fast-paced environment
- Develop exceptional and well-crafted solutions that meet stakeholders’ requirements.
- Supervise the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines
- Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and compete for work demands.
- Motivate and coach the team to operational success
- Coordinate with project managers and leads of teams to ensure project delivery timelines are met within scope and quality.
- Obsessed with details and has a strong eye for alignment and details
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritise overlapping tasks/projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing and communications
- 7+ years of experience as a designer
- 3+ years of experience in managing a design teams
- Ui/Ux experience
- Experience working on mobile platforms/Apps.
- A solid understanding of design, copy and App practices.
- Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have in-depth knowledge of graphic software.
- Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
- Fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Assertive, proactive, empathetic and forward-looking
- Super energetic positive attitude, strong sense of humor and a hearty appetite for growth
- Keen to follow latest design trends in visual, digital, and graphic design with an excellent eye for typography and layout
