Sooru.AI is a pioneering construction-tech platform dedicated to revolutionizing the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. We are developing an advanced, AI-powered SaaS product that transforms architectural design from a text prompt into fully realized 2D plans, 3D models, and BIM modules. We are looking for a visionary architect to join our core team and help shape the future of design.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Architect who is passionate about the intersection of design and technology. This is not a traditional design role; you will be the architectural brain behind our AI. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to translate complex architectural principles, workflows, and logic into features for our AI engine. Your expertise will ensure that our platform generates designs that are not only innovative but also practical, compliant, and buildable.

You will be committed to the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and planning (plan) to feature implementation and refinement (progress).

Key Responsibilities:

- Architectural Expertise Integration: Serve as the subject matter expert, guiding the development of AI algorithms for space planning, structural design, utility layouts, and BIM.
- Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate directly with ML engineers and software developers to define product requirements, test AI-generated outputs, and validate architectural accuracy.
- Workflow Innovation: Analyze and deconstruct traditional architectural workflows to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and enhancement.
- Quality Assurance: Review and critique AI-generated plans and models, providing critical feedback to improve the system's logic, efficiency, and adherence to design standards and building codes.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of advancements in both the AEC industry and artificial intelligence, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in an architectural firm, with a proven track record of seeing projects through from concept to completion.
- Technical Fluency: Deep, hands-on proficiency with a wide range of industry-standard architectural software. This includes not just 2D/3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArchiCAD), but also advanced BIM platforms (Revit), computational design tools (Rhino, Grasshopper) and leading visualization software (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion).
- A strong, demonstrable interest in the application of AI, computational design, or other emerging technologies within architecture. No prior coding experience is required, but a passion for technology is essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
