Partner with the best As a Software Development Engineer in Test you will be working closely with Dev & Operations team. You will support good quality practices and feature or functional and system tests, both manual and automated. The goal is to write frameworks and develop tools to qualify the EAA code. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for: - Using software development skills to develop tools, test frameworks and automation of test processes - Helping make Akamai systems faster, scalable, reliable, & secure by improving ability to test, deploy and maintain - Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment to influence through code review. - Influencing design process and product development - Providing support for interface issues to update changes and provide fixes to bugs. Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: - Have 6 years of experience with a degree in MTech/ME/BTech/BE in Computer Science or a related field - Have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (i.e. pytest, robot) and tools - Be well versed with networks and protocols e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS/SSL. - Be well versed in scripting language Python/Java web application architecture and Robot framework. - Have familiarity with version control system and continuous integration systems (such as, Git, Jenkins) - Have experience in networking, cloud, Load balancers and Identity systems & understanding of containerization & Orchestration.
