Description Are you passionate around launching new businesses and developing innovative processes that combine accounting finance operations excellence and technology to drive improvement Have you led large cross-functional projects to bring new business ideas to life or increase efficiency and accuracy of existing businesses If so Amazon has an immediate opening for a Sr Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Business Integration team focusing on India expansion India has emerged as one of the fastest growing geographies for Amazon with many exciting projects As a Sr Financial Analyst this leader will work closely with the financial systems team accounting operations teams tax treasury and others and represent the accounting organization to various stakeholders In this role the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business finance and technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable secure and flexible The projects will span across the Consumer domain including Seller Services Retail and Payments This role also provides high level visibility across business accounting and finance A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting system and process design project management and internal control related responsibilities This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced global results-oriented environment Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial as well as ability to think clearly analyze quantitatively problem-solve scope business requirements and prioritize Key job responsibilities Job Responsibilities - Lead and develop Program Managers to provide project support and assistance to Amazon s business and technology teams with the design of new products or offerings and set-up of financial systems to ensure appropriate business support and controllership - Responsible for consultation oversight and implementation of cross functional projects - Manage and prioritize work for the assigned portfolio work directly or indirectly with various stakeholder teams and monitor quality to ensure standards are maintained - Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership along with clear recommendations for resolution or mitigation - Provide leadership and technical guidance in executing large scale process implementations and improvements within new business launches and existing processes and controls define scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders - Work collaboratively with the global accounting tech finance tax and business teams to establish and maintain strong communication channels - Hire develop talent and actively participate in Accounting recruiting effort Basic Qualifications - 4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators KPIs to analyses experience - 4 years of building financial and operational reports data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 3 years of directly managing and leading a team of 3 members experience Preferred Qualifications - 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - 4 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating implementing an escalation plan experience - 4 years of mentoring junior finance and or business team members experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
