Job Title: Functional Analyst - ESG

Location: Hyderabad (Work from office)

Experience: 3-5 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ESG Functional Consultant to bring domain expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting and compliance. The candidate will play a key role in designing and developing an ESG technology solution by bridging the gap between business requirements and technology implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define ESG reporting frameworks, compliance needs, and technology integration.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate ESG regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
- Stay updated with global ESG standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2, CSRD, etc.) and ensure alignment with regulatory reporting needs.
- Define and implement ESG data models, metrics, and reporting templates for automation.
- Assist in the implementation of ESG disclosures, carbon accounting, and sustainability reporting tools.
- Support client engagements by providing functional expertise on ESG technology solutions.
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions on ESG regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of ESG regulatory frameworks and sustainability reporting standards.
- Experience in working with ESG data, KPIs, and technology-driven reporting solutions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ESG software platforms or technology-driven sustainability solutions.
- Familiarity with data analytics and automation for ESG reporting.
- Prior experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or financial reporting.
