Job Description

We're actively hiring an experienced Medical Coder with a passion for leading teams to join us in Pune as a Senior Group Leader. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in medical coding, specializing in Emergency Department (ED), Same-Day Surgery (SDS), and Observation. This role is perfect for a professional who can deliver on client commitments, manage team performance, and contribute to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver as per client SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Create and maintain all process documentation, updating it on a timely basis.
- Manage operations through end-to-end planning, process document review, and root cause analysis.
- Assist with new team member training.
- Ensure attrition and shrinkage targets are met.
- Review overall staff performance.
- Prepare KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports, dashboards, and metrics.

Job Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong team management skills.
- Available to work from the office.
- Flexible to work in shifts as per business needs.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical coding.
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED), Same-Day Surgery (SDS), and Observation specialties are preferred.
- Proficiency in leading a medical coding team is desired.
- Good knowledge of using PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
