Job PurposeJob Purpose DescriptionJob Context Major ChallengesJob Context Bela Cement Works is located 220 km from Jabalpur and 18 Km for Rewa Madhya Pradesh around 06 kms from National Highway No 7 30 It has a cement manufacturing capacity of 2 6 MTPA and clinker capacity of 2 1MTPA Bela plant is 6700 TPD 6 Stage 2 String SLC pre-heater plant which is engineered manufactured and supplied by M s Larsen and Toubro Limited FLS and commissioned in the year of 1996 The original capacity of this plant was 4500 TPD and in the year 2003 it was upgraded to 6700 TPD The unit has cement grinding capacity as well as clinker export facility Limestone requirement of the plant is 3 1 MTPA To meet the limestone requirement limestone mines are spread over 649 Ha having deposits sufficient for around 40 years Limestone crusher with capacity of 900 TPH located inside plant Material is transported from mine to plant through Dumpers The Unit has one captive thermal power plant of 25 MW in addition to 5 MVA Grid Power Connection with SEB to cater the entire power requirement of the unit Plant has a private railway siding for its inbound outbound material fuel cement and clinker movement Water requirement of plant is catered from water harvesting pits in mines Job Challenges Providing security to the workplace in the mines due to large and uncordoned area of operation Safe and secured storage of explosives detonators fuses etc required for blasting operation in mines and to ensure that these are not accessed by Unlawful elements Providing strict security with gun man at plant mines area to ensure its proper safety Key Result Areas KRA Accountabilities Max 1325 Characters Supporting Actions Max 1325 Characters KRA1 Accountability Security of Plant TPP Mines Township Plan organize control security arrangements in plant mines TPP township area to safeguard unit s assets employees Handling of miscreants Oversee vehicle checks at security Gate Organizing patrols in township and around plant boundary Vigilance at all entry exit points Ensure no encroachment by outsiders Handling of unlawful activities Provide intelligence services to Management Keeping constant vigil on the trade Union activity and the unruly elements Liaisoning with police and local govt officials KRA2 Fire-fighting Services Ensure maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and operate during emergencies within short notice Scheduled check up of Systems equipments Training the staff and workmen in Fire-fighting Maintaining all equipments to required levels Coordinate with Govt agencies other units to arrange additional resources Timely replacement refilling of portable fire extinguishers in various Departments KRA3 Liaison Liaison with law enforcement authorities and Road Transport Officers for supporting the business activities of the Unit Building relationship Interactions and socializing Helping them wherever possible Inviting them on special occasions in the Unit KRA4 System Implementation The system requirements of ISO EMS OHSAS and WCM systems in thorough the involvement of employees for improving working and quality standard Identify and improvement study and kaizen Identify get rectified - Abnormalities - Unsafe conditions practices 5S activities - Implementation plan for Quality improvement objectives Improvement of WCM criteria score Internal customer rating improvement - Statutory compliance
