Role details: - Title / Designation: Director SQA - Location: Chennai, Hyderabad - Work mode: Hybrid Role & responsibilities: - Lead the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team, ensuring high-quality delivery of projects, risk management, and adherence to standards. - Oversee QA processes, frameworks, and reusable test artifacts, ensuring traceable and effective test plans and scripts. - Provide strategic direction across program releases, managing resources, cost, scope, and risk while delivering executive QA dashboards. - Drive automation initiatives, innovation, and process improvements, aligning QA practices with industry standards. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time, high-quality program releases. - Lead transformation and change management initiatives to align QA efforts with organizational strategy. - Foster a culture of excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring continuous improvement and adoption of best practices. Candidate requirements: - 18+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in the healthcare industry. - Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automation tools, and hands-on resource and stakeholder management. - Experience in diverse testing approaches and leveraging AI for automation. - Knowledge of healthcare systems and MMIS is preferred. - Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives. - Strong communication, innovation, and people development skills, with a focus on long-term impact and scalability. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
